Sorry forgot the camera...
Anywho...got out of bed this afternoon and thought it was way too hot to go out tonight. The wife sent me off with the honey do list and boy did the temperature ever drop. Rushed home geared up and off I went with Abbie. Lots of everything flying, but once again way up...just at the end of legal shooting time a couple of geese came in and a guy around the corner hit one and I hammered the other. I sent Abbie who saw the bird go down, but she took off in another direction for some:mad: :mad: :mad: reason.....and when I finally got her back on track she just swam around. She made it to the area of the fall but couldn't find the goose. The other guy came by with his canoe to lend a hand and it took him a good half an hour for him to find it, it swam into some really thick fall downs. He busted his spot light and got a little wet in the process. I am going to pick up a case of beer for him as well as a new spotlight for the help. Not too many people around like that anymore, these days its usually sorry about your luck, have a nice swim.
So the dog is pooped (going to be training in that pond this spring and summer) the goose is in the freezer and now I am off to work.
