Chukar by the hundreds

My wife just got back from Kelowna B.C. She was there for two days and commented on the interesting flocks of birds that were landing in the field near by. She took some pictures. Yep, hundreds of Chukar. I had to laugh because I took a friend from out west on a game farm hunt in Ont. and had a few Chukar planted along with the pheasants. He was not too excited about the Chukar. I wondered why.

Chukar and Valley quial in that area. Might head there in a few weeks for a trip. See if work lets me go play if not MORE DECOYS!!!

Man, were there ever a lot of Valley Quail in Kelowna when we were there this summer. Good luck trying to hunt them though - they are mostly live lawn ornaments wherever we went.
