Lardy, Walters etc....
I'm looking for an idea of who has used what training programs for blinds. What worked well and what didn't?
Thanks

I used the Lardy tapes and articles. My gang did great on it. A Lot of people say the Smartworks DVDs by Evan Graham are better in some ways. I haven't seen them. Supposed to be easier to understand if you are a new trainer. I found the Lardy tapes a little hard to understand when I first started. The articles really helped though. Whatever method you choose, try to stick with it. Some methods don't work well together. Some people use both Graham's and Lardy's methods and for the most part they compliment one another. Good Luck!!

Having watched the Graham Tapes, and owning the Lardy, for a beginner such as myself, I would have been better served by the Graham tapes... The Lardy tapes seem to be more geared towards people already established.

I'd have to say that Evan Graham's books and DVD are more geared to beginning trainer (or seem to be at first) BUT I believe that combining Smartworks with Lardy is the best idea -- Lardy is not that hard to follow especially if you follow along with manual included

If you're asking me, I'd say a total 1... I'm on my first dog, and we're on to Force to the Pile... so I'd say far from a 2... ;)
