Does anyone know a good place to get gumsmithing done in the Hamilton area? My girlfriend ended up buying a 12 guage shotgun and we need to get the stock cut down on it.
I know of the guy in Fonthill, but his hours of operation are werid.

that guy in fonthill is local for me,he did the work on my wife's 1187 stock.his name is frank ryan.we were happy with the work and i thought his price was reasonable
i beleave he is open thur.,fri,and sat.till noon
once in awhile he's open wed.,ya never know,he can be a hard guy to catch up with
the name of his shop is frontier gun & sport 905 892-6962

i have heard of sharp's guns ltd in dunnville,don't know what they are like but the number is 905-774-6368

Precision Firearms is situated in King City, on King Sideroad east of Hwy. 400 -- they are very good -- two exits north of Bass Pro -- another place to check out while you're in the area -- not real close to Hamilton but worth mentioning

I have been up to Precision Arms (Steve Milton) and he has done good work however sometimes it will take quite a while to have it completed.

Another one I used recently is Gary Howe at Shooter's Choice in Waterloo. I was very pleased with his work. Info can be found at:
