Why don't you go to Gold Creek Game Farm in London? Ed Bolton runs a great operation there and has fabulous grounds. www.goldcreek.ca

I liked autumn Olive since I am in Windsor and it is closer plus a real nice property and Dan the owner was real good to deal with. He used to advertise in Ontario Out of Doors magazine.
That said I may need to find a new spot and may give this Goldcreek a try.
I lived in London several years ago and used to shoot sporting clays/skeet at the Deleware Gun Club and I believe we went to that Goldcreek one time.

Thanks Drew, but a buddy found the number.
That is a good place for dog training since he will sell you 3 birds for $55.00 and place them were you want. The owner, Dan, is very cooperative and it is quite informal with some nice gullies and cover to hunt.
I have a yellow lab out of field trial/hunt test blood. She works real good on pheasants, points naturally on sitting birds and flushes the runners. Generally unknown to the pheasant geniuses at the Natural Resources is that there are many pockets of wild birds left in Essex county. I work her on these birds a few times a week. The wild pheasant around her they almost never hold for a point.
You ever shoot out at the Deleware club? There was a bunch of lab trainers there.
Iam a member out at Delaware and there is only Al Arnold and myself that train Labs out thier.Jerry and Harry Loyns have dogs with Danny Devos but they don't train the dogs. Terry

That is a long time ago that I shot at Delaware. Brian MacDonnell was running it and Al was just a youngster.

Andrew or Dan McCallum, 30030 Chalmers Line, Route 2 Dutton, 519-762-5200 or 519-762-6370. Autumn Olive is still in business, although there have been a few changes. Dan had a stroke last year, so he is basically retired, but still likes to visit with the hunters. Andrew is building a new log cabin, since a fire destroyed the old farm house.

I am new to small game but will be at Dan's in a couple of week's to take my daughter and son-in-law up on my birthday present of 3 birds. Dan's reputation preseeds himself. This all lines up with what I was already told. I can't wait to miss my first birds! I will be too excited. God please keep me calmn so I don't shoot my son-in-law's Dad's dog's.
