It seems that the idea of streamlining or deleting the upland forum has ruffled some feathers so to speak.
How about some input from the members. For my part I think we can clean things up a bit.
As mentioned by Jeremy there are really only tests in spring and summer and field trials I don't know much about. What about getting rid of the areas dedicated to tests and trials. We can sticky a post in upland dog talk in spring and fall for each set of tests as a reminder, and then unstick it when the test date has passed. The upland bird hunting area can then be moved up to the upland bird dogs area.
If anyone else has some suggestions let us know.

The Upland Bird Hunting area should stay right where it is. If it is moved then the Waterfowl Hunting should go in the Retriever section. Makes sense, no. Then maybe we could put the Classifieds in the General Forum. Or better yet put it all in one and it could be the GeneralLabradorRetrieversUplandBirdDogs. How does that sound? I know it sounds good to me, that name just rolls right off the tongue. Ya right, like a square tire.:banplease:

I think The people that hunt upland could post and talk alittle more about it in the upland forum, post stories of hunts questions about birds, rabbits etc. I always enjoy reading about good dog work. If more people used it this wouldn't be a problem.

just a couple cts

If you attract more users, you will have more content. If you have more content, you will have more users. Refuge has 26k members, although they do much more than just gun dogs. vd.com has 2500 members. You have 250.

It's a simple problem, but the more important question and task is for you to figure out what you want with this site.
