FD tests

Can any breed of pointing dog participate in field tests. I have a Braque D'auvergne and want to test him this spring if I can but don't know where to start.

If it's a CKC test for pointing breeds, it's any breed recognized by the CKC. I believe.

I'm proud to say that in American Field trials any pointing breed can participate registered or not. They've worked hard at keeping it simple.

There are stories told of " Old Clem. ", pulling up in his 1950's Ford with his dog Elvis on a rope and showing 'em how it's done."

P.S. Of course it's more complicated than that now as far as placement/ Championship recognition goes.
