e-collar training

I am wanting to by and e -collar for my brit (I know, why havn't I done that yet) but I have an invisible fence installed around my yard which emits a shock if the dog goes to cross the line and then he decides not to. He has been very conditioned to this fence and it works great. The question then is: Can I train my dog on an e-collar if he has had this invisible fence collar on for the past two years? Will it confuse him?

I know a couple of people who use an e-collar that have the invisible fence as well.
You have to properly over lay every command with the collar and do it one at a time. I should be out your way in the next week Spear maybe we can get together for a bit and train. Let me know what your schedule is like.
