Can't wait

Chris and I and a couple of other guys are going out to Gold Creek this weekend for a hunt.. should be a great time... got a couple of dogs a few guns.. hopefully some good weather. Here is the problem.. that is not till sunday.... I can't wait that long. Anybody else get antsy waiting for a hunt??

My situation is unique, I am able to go on hunts almost daily, but when a big trip is planned I go crazy with anticipation and planning.

How was the hunt? Did the snow effect it at all.

I've been thinking of treating my dog to a hunt since she has been house bound for a few weeks with an injury but is all good now :)

too friggin cold to take any pictures.. I only took my hands out of my gloves to shoot and my fingers almost froze to the trigger. Only ended up getting 2 birds too

It was so cold I didn't even leave the house or seen you guys leave. Let Chris know I'll give you guys a rain check when it warms up. I took one of my dogs out at 5:00 pm that day and I think there noses were freezing up because they went by a bird at 4 ft. and no sign of smelling it. Give me a call when there is a date open.
