hunting okanagan

my wife's family lives in penticton and I visit 3 times a year. this is the first year we will have our new german longhair pointer & we intend to hunt some birds this year. has anyone hunted up there? Know what i should expect?

I have been planning a trip since last fall. I will probably end up going this fall coming up.

Depending on what your looking at but there is a lot of Chukar and Valley quail there (this is what I am after). Also some pheasants and as always waterfowl.
