You vs. Dunfur

Has anyone here run against the Dunfur GSP's? If so what did you think of them? I am looking at AF/CKC FT dog and they seem to be pretty popular around here.

Scott I know you have run against Dan's, Mike's, and Steve's dog what did you think?

I was braced with NAFC/FC/AFC PFK Dunfurs Morticia about a month after her National win. I judged NFC/NGDC/FC/AFC Dunfur's PFK Joe Obvious and gave him his first adult win in Canada before he went stateside and did all his winning. I have seen all Mike and Steve's dogs through the years. They are BIRD DOGS.

THanks scott I was looking forward to what you had to say. Manette has invited me out to train with her and Mike so I will get to see Simon. I got to see Muff and Shooter about a year ago at some shows but never got to see them run.

Was there anything you didnt like about them or in particular what you did like about them?

Not sure what else there is to say about a breeding/training program that has produced 5 National wins with 4 different dogs and a number of other contenders in a relatively short time.

I didn't like the fact that they are Shorthairs.

Scott I am just interested in anything that caught your eye, I am hoping to get a puppy out of morticia but would love a puppy out of Dunfur's Bovill Run.

I really doubt Morticia is having puppies. I have seen Icarumbah, Blown Income, Morticia, YFly, Joe Obvious and maybe a couple of others whose name escapes me at this time. They were all intense pointing bird dogs with as much speed and range as they could use.
