Hi everyone,
This is just a reminder of the Luther Marsh HRC Training Day to be held this coming Sunday (February 17th).
We will be back at Valens Conservation Area again. We hope to get the registration going by 8:30am and get the set-ups rolling by 9:00am. We plan to have a Finished test set-up and if the numbers warrant it we will also do a Started/Seasoned set-up.
Just a note about Valens this weekend - they are holding their Annual Valens IceFest (see Link). Our club will be putting on the Retriever Demo at 11:30am and there will lots of public around to view our day. Please be mindful of this and considerate to people when they ask questions or ask for their kids to pat your dog. This is a great way to build bridges for our sport.

There is a gate fee to get into Valens and a light lunch will also be served for a minimal charge ($5.00??). We will be in the Powell Pavillion (as far as I know) however it will also be open for the public to use as well.
This will be a UKC/HRC-style set-up using primer poppers at the line. Some LMHRC members will be available to provide a "mini" gun handling seminar for those that would like to try a "real" hunting situation.
Any questions do not hesitate to ask or PM me!! Thanks.
Randy
