OK folks, I'm involved in the Hunt Test end of this sport. In the Field Trial area, what is a Jam?

It is a Judges Award of Merit.

In AKC events, a jam is a judges award of merit. In CKC events, it is a CM or a certificate of merit.
These are suppose to be awarded to dogs that have completed all tests without major faults or accumulated faults, but who do not place.

In the Field Trial area, what is a Jam?

Usually you find yourself in it when it's time to pick up the short retired bird, and all your dog really saw was the flyer.
