Stolen dog

My friend was out on his property walking with his dog. The dog got into some bushes, my friend carries on and figures his dog will catch up. He hears a car, a car door open and close, and then hears it speeding away. He turns to call his dog in and the dog is no where to be found. I really don't know how someone could do something like that. But then I have a conscience.

I hope your friend finds his dog. Does the dog have any markings that would identify him? Like a scare or something?

This Canadian site has a Lost and Found thread that gets pretty good coverage. Perhaps a post here would help spread the news. A photo would help.

Here's hoping it was all just a misunderstanding and the dog is returned home.
