I want to buy a gift for my boyfriend around $100-$200, he has most basic training items. What would be a special gift that he would need/want/dream about for dog training and/or hunting? :stupid:

I would suggest a sexy night gown.. One should never train a dog when they are in a bad mood, and the sexy night gown would improve his training attitude...

Not sure what equipment he has so far. Phone Robert and tell him what you are looking to spend and see what he can come up with. He knows what sells and the stuff people are always looking for.

How about Mike Lardy training videos.
Hi Blacky,
If he does any big game hunting in serious bush you might want to look at a GPS. I guess you can use them in small bush to find your stand in the dark as well. Ive alwasys liked them but since I hunt local farm lands Im always an hour or less from a consession, road or open field. Unless its dark out and your he is prone to walkin in circles he may not get to much use out it. A gift card will come in handy too! Good luck

I just got one myself...good for any type of hunting, travelling and a fun toy to have. Great suggestion. Try to get one off ebay....I got a great deal on a brand new one with all sorts of extras and paid less then what a base unit costs at Walmart

I know a few pointer guys that have been known to wear sexy nightgowns, but not necessarily while training. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Not trying to start a war or anything here. I'm sure most of those guys are on another forum.:fencing:
If you know what I mean.
Bushnell laser range finder. I got one and use it a ton. Both dog training and hunting. As one of my training partners stated, "now you know how far your dog won't mark:)". Little more $ than you may want to spend maybe, but well worth it.

Hey it was only once, and I had been drinking. Besides the satin feels nice under my hunting clothes:emmbarassed:

I'm not sure that this will help with training or hunting but it would not hurt for once the other stuff is done for the day.
But for hunting or testing I would suggest a nice Lanyard with drop loops for a call & whistle and also a really nice duck call ( acylic or custom). Good luck in whatever you choose but I am sure he will appriciate it ( and the nitegown also)

:censored: The sexy night gown idea might just work. Although it may impede his hunting skills rather than enhance!
