View Full Version : Hunt Secretary.com
If anyone is going to enter an HRC Hunt Test through huntsecretary.com and you have a Canadian address you won't be able to register until they get it changed because it doesn't allow for anything other than a U.S. state.
I talked to Janet @ hs.com and she asked me to pass along the temp. fix and this seems like the best place.
When you register, use your normal mailing address except for the state, for the state use Hawaii (HI) and send her an email, she will fix it before sending the info to the clubs.
You will have to do the same thing when you pay. You will recieve a entry/confirmation number, include this in your email
Lake Erie is using hs.com and I guess a few more will soon. Other than this glitch it was an easy way to enter.

Lake Champlain HRC will be using hs.com for their test this year.
Maybe you could send her a link to the forum Tim and then she could update people herself right here.

I used it to enter Erie also and it was an easy way to find out finished was full already. For those of you entering that weekend Sandusky bay had a few spots in finished still when I called last week but were filling fast.
I don't care for the extra costs passed on to the folks trying to get out and run the dogs it adds up when you run a few dogs and several weekends throughout the year with the price of fuel I think you may see a drop in #s

I think it costs the club $1.75 per entry, and it costs the handler $3.00 per premium if you use a credit card. If you mail in your entry with a check you don't pay the $3.00.
I think it includes all the required books and forms with it. It is the only way to enter up to the advanced entry date, but after that the club hunt secretary can add entries, but they won't be printed in the book.
All the info for clubs is on the website.

Just entered as well, first time I have used it. Fairly simple and easy, one thing that could be improved though is the abitlity to click off all your entries for each day of teh test and then submit all the credit card info just once instead of each time for each dog on each day.
