Getting closer and warmer

Hey all, we are at the time when the hunt test premiums are out for the full season of trials. How many are you entering and which ones. I'm planning to run hard toward my next goal for my dog. My season looks like this...

High Flyers May 17-18
Kingston May 24
Lake Ont. May 31-June 1
L. Champlain June 28-29
Ottawa Aug. 9-10
Luther Aug. 16
Georgian Bay Aug.30-31
Fall Grand Oct. 4-8
Lake Ont. Oct. Upland

Looks like a busy schedule. All the best. I'll see you at Kingston and Lake Ontario. Thinking about Ottawa, Shawn will have my dog in August, so I have to figure that one out. As for Luther Marsh, I'll be in PEI then.

You gonna run your dog this year Let 'em Run? I might hit some mid to late HRC with the young yell'r dog. Plan on spending more time over in CKC with both dogs though. Will see what price of gas does too:boo:

Yes I'm going to handle him this year till September then Shawn is going to take him over and get Chevy ready for the Grand. I ran Sweetpea last year @ Luther and she made me look good as handler. I hope Chevy can carry me during this years trails. I might see you Al @ one or two CKC Master trails but I'm going to train hard and try and push for Chevy's Grand title first.

I'll be floating around the Guelph area CKC HT's first of the year. Remainder of the CKC/HRC year depends on what shakes out with younger dog. As for FT's I'd like to go watch a couple as a spectator this year to see how they "work". Every one I've been too either was officially working or jumped in and helped out anyways so I'm totally ignorant on what to do and what is expected. I'll maybe take a crack at 'er some day. Word has it some Bayles guy down Hamilton way is going to mop up everything this year anyways:first: Hope I get to see him in "action".

So far here is what I am planning for this year.

Granite State HRC May 17-18 (running both days)
Kingston May 24 (Running)
Lake Ont. May 31-June 1 (Running 1 day and judging 1 day)
L. Champlain June 28-29 (running both days)
Ottawa Aug. 9-10 (running both days....maybe judging 1)
Georgian Bay Aug.30-31
Saco River HRC Mid september (running both days)

May try to run a couple CKC events near home as well to give it a try.
