Saw some of the pictures of a few of the tests.
By the sounds of thing the purina water test had an interesting blind. You ran it first and then were invited to run marks if it went ok.
Here is a picture of the blind from another site.
Test description,
cold blind 81 yards over and through (oops excuse me) start over....30-40 yard heel under "Grand control" , halfway to blind line(orange painted rock), two dry shots were fired by gunner at the bucket, then preceed to blind under "grand control", find painted orange dot and run cold 81 yard blind over and thru some of the gnarliest logs on top and underneath water that I personally have ever ran a dog thru. dog was out of site if got out of 4 yard wide channel. the money cast was at about 55 yards and the end of the channel, a left back cast, then dog was out of site, which seemed an eternity, 7-8 sec, approx 20-25 yards... all you could do was trust your dog to take correct line and come out near the stick. dog would emerge bout 5 yards either to left of stick and headed up blind planter path or on the stick where another whistle was required to finish the blind(that was later found out this is what judges were looking for)....some got dinged "for not finishing the blind".......notice logs under the water in second picture. I also forgot to mention that you had parameters(two goose dekes) that you had to stay between when handling aprox 5 yards wide.
