Whacha think about this duck boat

Hey,

I went and looked at a used jon boat yesterday and I am seriously considering buying it but I tought I would see what some of you guys thought.

It is a 2005 Crestliner 1652 Welded Jon boat. It comes with the trailer, boat, a 2005 Merc 40hp ELPT EFI Four Stroke and fish finder. The boat and motor has less than 20hrs on it and it is being offered as a brokerage sale at a local marina for $8500.00.

Whacha think? Worth the money..... ????

Drew for your $$ there is a nice boat a little bigger for the same $$ for sale at HO. The seller aaron is a great guy. I have bought stuff fron him in the past. His stuff is barely used and a great buy.

Not a bad price... The seats are pretty cheap... Nice Boat, and Motor Combo though... I've got some buddies who swear by Proctors (if that is where you are buying from, it's on the trailer)... They get great service there...

I love the look of that boat! But I think for a hunting boat a tiller is much more practical, and roomy.

i hunt with 2 guys that own the same boat one 16ft one 14ft 16 has a 40 the other a 25 boath boats bought at aplace that was going out of bis the boats will work good i would sell the motor and buy a mud moter then u would have a real hummdinger of a duck boat the price is O.K not a great deal but not a bad buy a that price if u need more info i can put u in touch with a guy that has the boat on H.O his call name is D.K hope this helps Tim
