Didn't get one again this year and we didn't get one as a group either. Hopefully someone in our group gets one as an individual.

Hopefully the lodge we're staying at has a tag to sell to us. We'll see.

Out of curiosity what WMU are you guys applying to? Myself I go up to 15B (one hell of a long drive) but it is worth it. We get tags every year and always get at least one moose.
Drew
We hunt in WMU36 just north of Bruce Mines. Tags for moose are hard to come by but we seem to get one every other year. We go up for the opening week of deer so we spend the first weekend hunting for moose and then if we don't have a tag, we concentrate more on the deer. We always fill our tag when we get one but we are fortunate because my cousins live there and they work in the bush and know where the moose are so we don't have to spend time scouting around.

I got a bull tag. I came home from the mail the other day and Rene was just getting up from nightshift and I said "Guess who's got a bull tag?" of course he says BUll CRAP. THEN I said...Guess who DOESN"T have a bull tag. :cheesy: :cheesy:

I don't know how the system works for non-residents but if you are looking to hunt moose I would seriously consider northern B.C. I don't think it's possible to come home without one - they are EVERYWHERE, and although a lot of people in the area hunt them I don't think (?) that there is even a draw system in that region... Seriously, I saw moose almost every day for three years while living up in Fort Nelson. It's beautiful country to visit and you could make it even more worth your while by hunting cariboo or sheep at the same time. Cariboo are the most delicious IMO but I only hunt birds ;) so I depend on free steak from friends..... remember who referred you if you decide to head up that way , lol.
