I went to my local post office yesterday and found out that there is a delay in purchasing the Migatory Bird Licenses. So I called Canadian Wildlife Service and they tell me that the post offices will start getting them starting tomorrow Aug 20 till Sept 1/08. I like to buy my early so I don't forget about it. You probably will want to call your post office before you go to make sure they have them in stock.

Yeh nice eh.. i went to buy one and they didn't have them yet.. They should have these things atleast 2 months before the season opens!

I was really fustrated the other day because I went too two post offices and both of them told me they were sold out which I found strange. When I went to the post office I usually go to purchase they had a letter explaining the situation. I agree with you that they should of had them ready at least a month ago so that people can plan there holidays!

called again this morning.. nothing yet. Open here on the 4th as well... Gotta love the impeckability of the government.. or lack thereof...lol

Just talked to enviroment Canada and I know that this has already been stated in this thread so I thought I would reiterate the message: they have informed me that they they should be recieved by the Postal outlets anytime between now and Sept 1st. He also said if they were not, we should call and talk to management about it. Love the government

They are in.. at least at the Canada Post Outlet in Shoppers Drug Mart in Adelaide ST. S in London.. just checked

I just checked two post offices in Richmond Hill and they are still not in.

I bought my migatory license last night in Richmond Hill. My understanding is most post offices should have them by now.

If your in Richmond Hill.. go up to Oak Ridges Post Office they have them
