If you have a smaller dog like an AWS, Boykin, Toller, ESS or a small lab, this might do the trick if you hunt shallow marsh or a flooded field to get your dog up and out of the water. The top is 19" x 19"

I just ordered one for walk in areas for my AWS. Lightweight, portable and inexpensive. Type in CAT08 for discount shipping 1st order (this may not work for Canadian orders?) Less than $25 US for me. There probably is a source of these somewhere in Canada.

I'll take a chance on one of these rather than spending the big bucks on an Avery stand and see if it works for us. Yes, the legs are steel and the marsh may be hell on them, but for the price, I'll give it a try.

I just got it delivered via UPS today. It is well built!

Here is a video of my 1 year old AWS Lily on the stand. She was introduced to the stand less than 5 minutes earlier. A little unstable at the moment – but I am sure that if I dig it into the mud or place it around a stump, it should be OK for a small dog like mine. :tu
