Doesn't Hullett usually have a hunt trial 23 rd or 24 th of September? Anyone know.

No.
This week and coming weekend is the Ontario Amateur Shooting Dog Championship. That will end trials at Hullett as the hunting season for pheasant then starts.
Michigan trials will run through to October.
