I had the pup in bed this morning, and I noticed while she slept that she shook as if she was cold. I woke her up,(she is a very deep sleeper sometimes) and talked to her for a second and then she went back to sleep...a few seconds after, she started to do it again. I realize that the dogs have their dreams, but usually if you wake them up, they stop. Ambr didn't stop shaking. I thought she was cold,so I pulled the blankets over her and once she was out, she would do it again.

This was wierd!! I'm gonna see if she does it while she naps during the day. Anyone else ever see this??

So after I posted this, I went over to the dogs, as they are napping in the sunbeam and she is still doing it. WTF??? what the heck is going on...

Chasing Birds likely.

Mine sound like they are running in their kennels sometimes while sound asleep

Yep agree with Kev, sounds like she is having a nice dream. Mine do it once in a while also.

It wasn't like the dog dreams where they are growling, running etc, the dogs have those all the time, and usually after you wake them up, or they wake themselves up, its over...even if they go back to sleep. She was doing it every time she had a sleep.

She is sleeping right now,but seems to be fine. I took her temp and its ok as well.

My dogs twitch all the time when sleeping. I am sure it is just dreaming

You got the pup that gets the chills, I got the one that wakes the whole house when he snores. Not kidding, ground moving, house shaking snoring...I thought it was my wife the first time I heard it and she thought it was me, woke us both up...lol...

Well, I monitored her for the rest of her naps that day and since then she has only had the regular puppy dreams. I guess I got a little worried for nuthin.....but because it wasn't like the rest of the dogs, I got a little worried.

This one snores too, although hasn't woke anyone up with it yet, cause she is a lady (with horns)

Mine also snores.
he also has twitching fits while sleeping.
He seems fairly normal.
