SWORTC Picnic Trials

Things are a bit quiet right now, so I want folks to have a little something to look forward to in the dead of winter:

SWORTC is joining the ranks of SW ON clubs that hold picnic trials; ours will take place on the 3rd Sun of the month, beginning in Nov., we will use ducks, & we will have both HT & FT set-ups (modifiable for all levels from puppy to advanced), but no ribbons or judges. See details for locations, fees, etc. on club website.

For those who are unfamiliar with picnic trials, it's a great way to expose your dog to a trial environment, but still be able to train & enjoy the informal fun, as well as network & meet new folks. Non-members, newbies, & even old farts like Jim Blake are welcome!

Sounds like fun!! Where exactly is this going to take place? If Drake doesn't go south for the winter and your not too far, maybe we'll come.
