collar conditioning

Hi everybody,

At what obedience or training level is one to start collar coditioning?? Age must be some factor as well???

It's going to depend on the dog, but for CC to here, sit, and heel I start around the time that they have a very solid grasp of the commands and are 90-95% compliant. That is usually around 4-5 months with again a mature dog, then once that's done they have the concept of turing off pressure which really helps when you go into FF around 6 months of age.
