No. They taste like the worms they eat. Some people have a good recipe so they tell me.

It all depends on how you cook them.

The brest meat is very dark and tates a little bit like liver, the legs are white meat and tates more like ruffed grouse to me .....my wife and children do not like gammy meat and they are very excited when I have four or five for dinner

As for recipes I remove the brest meat and the legs froim the bird and then I
give them a half hour soak in Italian salad dreasing or Balsalmic Vineger
this removes the blood (liver) taste from the meat I then dredge it in seasoned
flour and fry in butter. I serve this with rice and veggies, sometimes I make a gravy from drippings or casserole it with cream of mushroom soup with only half a can of milk insted of 1 can of water......Hope this helps

As my father taught me..... You know I like to eat them cause I am still shooting
them

He made me eat a robbin when I was 9( brand new air rifle) funny they taste
alot like woodcock..... second point of interest ....I had to learn how to cook
at the age of 9 also :cheesy:
