Those of you who know me know, know that I am not usually wrong, but I do have to apologize for my cruel comments regarding the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I just got back from a vacation and my friends (leaf fans) have reminded me how well the leafs have been doing so far this year.

Lets hope that they can keep it up and forget about that theory of finishing last to get the #1 draft pick. Lets also hope that Mats show up somewhere else other then Toronto and they use their money to continue on the rebuilding.

Saw the highlights of the Leaf / Ranger game and there does seems to be a serious attitude adjustment this year.

I guess attitude is important in hockey - just as it is in dog training.

Most trees drop their leaves in the fall but the Toronto Maple Leafs fall in the Spring.

I am trying to be nice....as they say, "I'm turning over a new leaf!"

I guess I have been watching too much of the american election and thought that it was time to try to get along. I guess I don't like being a "maverick!"

Sorry Peter I couldn't resist the temptation to drop the leaf joke . I don't watch hockey ever as I was a Hockey orphan . My father spent more time at the rink coaching than he did at home . The family was all glad to see the end of the season . Besides hockey is too noisy, at least golf is quiet.

Eden, I was kidding also as those who know me know that I have been wrong on several occassions and also that it is impossible for me turn over a new leaf as all my leaves have turned to manure!
But I do like the new attitude of the leafs even though I know that their abilities are limited.
