The 1st picture with Skip shows Jimmy Blake (pointing at his nose) Some might remember him for being in charge of the Indoor Retriever trial at the Toronto Sportsmans' show back in the Late 80'S EARLY 90'S.
Good pics Al.
Unfortunately Ron went out after a good effort on the Land Blind.
18 to the WB
7 to the WM.
Tired, good night.

Scott pointed out that Jim Blake was pictured at Niagara FT -- and how he was in charge of Gold Whistle trials for several years (after Gord Tuck had run it for many years) -- Jim won the Gold Whistle with his FTCH AFTCH Riccon's Mighty Samson (2 or 3 times I think) -- I had the great fortune to train with Jim back in the 80's -- I learned a lot about training dogs from Jim not to mention sharing some very funny moments (but those are stories for another time -- if ever) -- any way it was great to see Jim at the Niagara FT -- hadn't seen him in years -- about 2 years ago Jim got back into the game after being away for a while (like a lot of us who have returned to FTs after being away for several years) -- Jim has his dog Fred running Open and Amateur -- also has pup out of Creek Robber and MH bitch that he's really happy with -- FTs would not the same without people like Jim -- and not just because he is a colourful character -- but because he is a dog man
