I finally made my mind up to have my seven month old pup spayed. She is booked in for this Thursday. I checked her this morning and she has started her season - buggar. So thats the spaying out of the question.

Her run fence is only 5 feet 2 inches at its lowest point so I presume I have to try to increase that somewhat. ??
She is not attracting dogs yet. I had her out with a male yesterday.

I just wondered if anyone had had any experience with scent masking products.
I read chlorophyll is very good. Has anyone tried it?.

thanks for your advice,
warren

Chlorophyll will not fool an intact male once she hits standing heat. Do not leave her outside unattended. When you are not home or cannot supervise her, she should be in her crate in a secure location--be it in the house, or the garage if she is not an indoor dog. Even if that run were 8 feet tall a determined boy would scale that sucker and get to her!!

I agree the house would be the best scent blocker you could get. Keep her close when you are out with her and on leash in any public areas.

Thanks for the insight.
Keeping them in the house is how I have always done it in the past. I was hoping I could just raise the run height. But if they'l scale 8 feet I have no chance.
I'm out for a good part of the day hence the reason for wanting her to remain in her run. I'l have to find a dog sitter.

thanks again.
