Hey All,

I still debating between HRC, and CKC for what series to run Piper in. I'm trying to find the rules for both, are they available online? The CKC website is absolute rubbish! The UKC Website has the 05-06 regs, so I assume those are what I need to go by?

Please help! ;)

The 07-08 HRC rule book is out now. There are only minor changes from the 05-06 one.

The rule book is listed on this web site.http://ukcdogs.com/HRetrieversRules.htm
It breaks the book down into 4 areas. The first 3 cover general requirements for clubs and judges, the majority of the rules for each catagory are listed under Running Rules, Policies and Procedures. If you select the blue arrow next to the catagory it will open up the entire menu.

Started is not full yet.

frank if u come to the hunt test i will intro u too the people who are doing the CKC test in this area u can see both if u dont hunt ckc is the road to go if u hunt then HRC is the way to go but after afew test u can pick one also u can get titles in both CKC and HRC and if u really want to get a bad tast in your mouth i can take u to the field triale in Que they just look at u like u got two heads

Hey Tim,

Thanks for that offer, that's very kind! I do plan on running started at Ottawa, since I am also running in Kingston this week-end... I also plan on attending the CKC events in clayton, and westport.
