Me and a couple friends got out yesterday to Gold Creek and got in a March phesant hunt. Seems there are birds left over from last fall that were never used due to winter coming so early. It was sure nice to get the mutts out and let them stretch their legs. Kaiser even remembered that he is supposed to point. The cover was not bad either considering it had been under snow for a few months. We managed to collect 13 of the 15 birds we had put out and the pudlepointer "Blitz" layed down a real nice point on a woodcock. I was really happy with the dogs because the wind was really blowing and it was dry out and they still found those hens that had really hunkered down. A few pics too.
