Hey all,
Just wondering if any of you have experience with sending a collar back to TT for repair. What I was wondering was the turn around time?
I sent my Pro 200 reciever back 2 weeks ago for repair and have not heard or seen anything yet. I could really use it right now....

Don't know about TT turn around but I sent a set of binoculars and a scope to Bushnel in early Feb, the binoculars came today, but not the scope. Sure hope they do the same with the scope as they did with the binoculars, sent brand new ones and I can't tell you how old the original pair were.

Hey Drew,
I have sent a TT collar back and I also have sent TT remote releases back.
The collar was sent some time ago (6-7 years) and it was quite a while before I got it back. The more recent experience I had was with the remote releases. It was a much different (and quicker) experience.
As I recall it was 3-4 weeks to get them back. However I have heard they are even faster these days - service has become a priority with TT. Funny how competition works.
Did you call first and get a work order or service order number? Did you put it on the outside of the package when you sent it??? That makes a big difference.
Here is a bit of a horror story with NOT having a service number:
I had sent a TT bark collar back that I won on a raffle table at an HRC Hunt Test (BTW - Kevin doesn't win everything - LOL). TT was going to give me a credit to purchase something else (I was going to get another remote release). I called the TT Rep that is responsible for these things and he never did receive it. It took months to figure it out and going back and forth. In the end TT sent me the remote release (no additional charge) for my troubles.

Drew,
I would call the service department. I had sent in my G3 Sport Combo for repairs. Well after about 3 weeks I called to see where they were and they had sent it out through UPS. Apparently in a clerical snafu they never got a tracking number from UPS and so my collar was out there somewhere. Well with TriTronics that is not an issue because they send me a brand new set and I had it within about 2 days. I would call them to at least find out where they think your collar is and then let them take care of you. Good luck.
I've had pretty good luck. Usually around 2-3 weeks. Most of that time was taken up via postal/courier travel time. As well if it is a warranty swap/repair it was far faster than a non warranty repair.

Yes I did call ahead and get a repair order number. I wanted to find out how much it was going to cost me as it was out of warrentee ( by 1 month).
Did you put it on the outside of the package when you sent it???
Randy
No, I never put the repair order on the front of the box, I typed up a short letter and had it in there along with the money order for the repair.
I guess I will give them to Friday and will call if I do not see anything by then.

You can ask for quicker turn around times also(costs a little more) . If you did not it will probably be 3-4 wks unfortunatley. I would call becuase I have recieved a caller that was not even mine before.
