Great day for some water marks...

Well,

Since the weather was going to be so nice today I decided to take the dogs out to some big water ( Lake Erie ) and do some long water marks. I could not have asked for a better day...17 degree's and the lake was completely flat and clear.

Both dogs did very well today ( basic set up's though) and the pup had no issues at all with what would be her first long distance swim. I wish I had took the camera as he water entry's were amazing and would have made for some great pictures. I will try and get some this week...

Today was the first day that it was really warm enough for big water marks. Marty & Keith set us up a long technical water blind followed by a water triple with 2 retired guns. Then we set up some shorter stuff for the young dogs. Thought we would be home by two at the latest but it was more like five. The traffic really hadn't built up too badly so I hope chocdog had a safe trip home. Tomorrow is supposed to be hot so we will give the dogs a bit of a break and train ibn the evening.

It was a beautiful week-end down here, except for Sunday Aft, when I wanted to go fishing... it rained the whole time... Came home early, no walleye... lol...

At least you got out!
