I have a rather large back yard with lots of activity going on in it. Lots of birds that my dog trys to creep up on, kind of like a cat and lots of squirrels he chases all day long. I had hoped that after a couple of years of this he would get over it.


The squirrel thing is a constant problem. I don't have a collar for him and this is the only area I seem to have little or no control. He does not point squirls he just chases and today he actually caught one. Any thoughts or suggestions here. Would a collar help here?

Squirrels are a problem for my female. Just say the word squirrel and she will be up on her toes like a covey of quail just flushed. I was thinking that I should get beagle or a terrier to keep them away! My Britt will just stand there for hours watching them devour my vegetable garden. I wish she would chase them a bit....:dog:
