Well thats true kinda... Got your message Rossie about training but we were already training in London for the weekend; Tony and I went down to Rick's and trained with Gerry W, and Shawn and Tim (from Esssex) Quack and Flanigan.
We got there Saturday morning and trained with Gerry W, Dan and Shawn and Tim (from Esssex). It was a hard day of not stop slagging. We even slagged you and Hannah. We actually got some training in too. I shampooed the princess during her water tests
Tony and I spent the night and camped out.
Sunday morning we started training around 7am until the Gerry Tim and Shawn showed up around 9ish(with Timmy's coffee!!). Al and Jeff showed up and the slagged started all over.
All of our dogs now work very well when there are distractions going on in the gallery.
It was a good weekend.

Right on, I want to head down that way when I get Cash doing more advanced stuff, still lots of teaching to do right now. I'm off thursdays and fridays, if you want to get together to run the dogs, let me know.

well another good weekend of training and great weather .all in all every dog got some gallery training but the dogs held steady . they stayed focused on the job on hand .the only hole i see in the princess she got so excited when she was getting toweled off on the tale gate she knocked over a part off a big boys pop .and after a good talking to and fallowed up with a hug she knew she had done wrong and was ready for super and a relaxing night by the fire .:cheesy:looking forward to the weekend of the 27 got the grill cleaned going to thin out some of the heavy cover to get more area to run . so get them dogs rested up and ready to run . hunt smart hunt with a trained trtriever . heading back out to the pond .rick

yes we are going to thin out the cover . it seems like you all trained at the local football field at the high school .were the grass is cut short . we are just trying to give those cover shy dogs a fair shake .:cheesy: i said were are just thining it out not getting ridd of it .i like to see the look on the handlers face when there dog rolls hard to the left or right just because there is a little tuft of grass on the way to the blind .:cheesy:well 2labs we found a few holes in them there dogs that need to be filled .well out cutting the grass i saw a few new concepts on water and land that looked really good by the way your comming up on the weekend maybe i`ll wait until monday to start that . that big brown dog likes cover dosen`t he . i know you get excited when you see what we are to send threw .:cheesy: so hunt smart hunt with a trained retriever . heading back out to the pond .

yes if she was my dog she wouldn`t get treated any different you always treat your best friend and hunting companion like royalty it save`s those long cold swim from the handler during hunting season .there can be a lesson learnt here .a little quality time goes a long way when you have to work together in picking those birds up during the day . it only helps to get your dog to have faith and believe in you as a companion and handler .you are a team out there going against a hunting situation or trying to bring home that ribbon on the weekend .like the old joke going around were they say lock your wife and your dog in the closet come back in an hour and see which one is still happy to see you .hunt smart hunt with a trained retriever . heading back out to the pond

Well was out Ricks Saturday rode out the the rain and had some fun does anyone know where I can buy one of those air type horns easier on the lungs,also regarding the football fields Rick know understands why we do it there Puppys ,cheerleaders you get the picture :cheesy:
