Feeding Homemade Diets

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone here feeds their dogs homemade diets, or might know where I could find more information about them? I am looking to switch my dog over to a homemade cooked diet but I want to ensure I am giving him the proper nutrition he needs. I have been able to find a bit of information about it and it appears as though I may have to supplement with calcium.

Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I feed 50% home food, I use rice, oil, eggs, vegetables, no potatoes, no grapes, meats (cooked) The other 50 % is commercial dog food, to make sure I get the essential vitamins and minerals
There is a lot of info ont he web. I wont feed that Barf diet ( all raw) just too messy.
