I actually really like his episodes. I think he incorporates very sound strategies. He actually had one episode where he used an e-collar. His book was a good read as well.

I very much think he is for real. His actions and techniques seem well founded. We regularly watch his program, have read his book, and have tried to implement them with our dogs as required. He uses nature and a dogs inherent instincts to achieve what he desires. Too many people treat their dogs like humans these days. A lot of people don't like him because of that. Now if I could only figure out how to make my black dog calm submissive on the line......tssssst, tssssssst.

This guy is great!! He is not teaching anything that many trainers do not already use in one way or another but bringing it to the masses and making them understand the pack mentality and he teaches people to become the leader of their pack with the dog much further down the ladder.
I have liked every thing I have ever seen him teach so far on his show.
