Cabelas Real-Image decoys

Wanted to get a doz. just wondering if anyone has used these and how they hold up over the season. They seem to look good and at a decent price.

I've seen them in the catalogue.
They look good.
IMO the more important quality is size.
I plan on buying some mags.
Not sure which ones yet.

I use the real image decoys in my spreed... They have the best paint ( durable) finish over my final approach decoys and with the Canadain dollar so strong it is a good buy.

Guys Cabelas real image are made by Avery so that would explain the detail and looks.

I was reading up on them and alot of peoplea are complaining about the paint coming off. Not sure what to buy now. Saw another kind not sure of the name but the keel comes off so you can use them in the field aswell. not bad looking but I don't like when they have the blue on the wings. Every picture i see of a drake you never see the blue on the wing. Not sure if it makes any difference.

Hey Little Brit,

The paint issue with the decoy your speaking of was several years ago. Plus it is cabelas.........they have a record of everything you buy!


If you want the most realistic decoy in the market by far it is Avery.
