FYI, this sanctioned CKC test is being run on August 29 in the Soo. I've been told this is a requirement in order for the club to hold CKC hunt tests in the future. They are running JH & SH tests. If interested the contact is Sean Wonch (seanwonch@hotmail.com). Nice to see another hunt test north of Hwy 7 finally.

GAME:
Ducks will be used in all stakes

AWARDS:
Standard CKC Sanction rosettes will be awarded to all qualifying dogs.
(Rosettes will be mailed to qualify dogs)

CLOTHING:
Camouflage or dark clothing required by handlers

They setup some excellent tests for the dogs while braving torrential rain and cold wind! We had 10 dogs entered between Junior and Senior. Despite the cold and rain it was a good day.

The Algoma Retriever Association is looking forward to next year when we will be holding a licsenced Hunt Test as well as our Annual Field Trial.

It was closer to 4 hours, but well worth the drive, although the weather was a tad damp. Would have been better hunting ducks, than throwing them!

I'm glad you had a good time!!! I can't wait to get back out to the property and train on the water blind!!! It was awesome!!! Not real long, but OH boy it had a lot in it!!!
