Looking at buying a layout blind. I have two in mind

- Final Approach Eliminator Express $129.95

or the

- Final Approach Eliminator Sport $149.95

these prices are U.S at wingsupply.
Does anyone hunt out of these and what is your oppinion on them.

Bass Pro is advertising the RedHead laydown for 199.94 but the problem is I think they only ever have 1 stock and half of Ontario wants its. So I'm thinking it's sold out.

Hands down the FA Sport utility blind, stay away from layout blinds that dont have fully framed doors. The framed doors help give you alot more space. I had the Bass pro model of the FA SUB great blind, but would spend the extra a order a Avery finisher from rogers sporting. Just my 2 cents

You should take a look at these blinds, I am still trying to come up with a reason to buy myself one.

They are very well built, you can literally do pushups on the frame without bending anything and they are VERY roomy.

They are almost identical to one of the FA models, Dave told me which one but cannot remember now.

Prices are in canadian funds as well.

1st off I would recommend checking out Rogers Sporting Goods for prices. 2nd I prefer the sub blind because how the doors flip open opposed to doors laying on top of you. I have an x-lander, which is similar to express. If there is a good wind, you need to hold doors so they won't blow open. Also may want to check out Tangle Free Blinds. Good luck.

I would highly suggest the GHG Ground Force by Avery. Is the lowest full frame blind on the market and is a thousand times easier to put up and take down then any of the FA brand blinds. You can literally take it down in 30 seconds once you get used to it and obviously helps with storage.

I have 4-5 buddies that have all switched because of the ease of take down alone.

Cannot speak for Tanglefree Blinds ......they could be awesome but anything new usually has to work out the kinks for a couple of years.

I would also check out David at SLO.......awesome service and the prices are usually very good!

Dave has a tanglefree set up in the store, this is a solid blind in my opinion and at the price they are listed at wel worth taking a look.

I am pretty certain that the Final Approach Eliminator Express doesn't have elastic bungees that spring the doors open. The doors lay flat on top of you and there is less room and you will need to PUSH the doors open with stubble on top.

MY 2 cents - Don't go cheap on a layout blind.

I use one of these Exterminator blinds
