Just to say I just got back from the Region 14 SH. Dog CH. from Circle MT.
65 dogs drawn, weather in the 85-90 range by 10 oclock,lots of Sharptail on all 7 coarses. Well organized and a eye opener for some of the Southern boys that came up and never seen a real wild bird trial on the prairie. ...puphood1

Are you saying you went all the way to Montana for a trial and it was a Championship? Did you have a dog qualified to entry? Only in my dreams do I think about a true wild bird Championship with 7 courses. I assume it was horseback and not walking? Who placed?

Of the 65 dogs that ran about 15 including my dogs were from Region 14 the rest were from the US mostly the South. My drive was 9 hours as I live in AB. The winners can be seen on the Cover dog web page. All my 9 dogs are qualified to run in CH.'s but some are retired and some are not quite ready. I have run on these grounds since their inception and they have never been better with multi bird opportunities for every dog that ran on every coarse. We use a small part of the land available to us as a horse back trial. The MT. open Shooting dog started after and should be finished now.......puphood1

The perfect spot . You can go East, West or South.
That's a lot of dogs to have qualified for a Championship. Good for you. Congrats.
