What semi -autos have you used and what have you liked & disliked?
I have a super X2.
I would probably buy another one (used), because whatever issues I've had, have been resolved mostly but that's the only semi I've had. It's been ridden hard and put away wet. People seem to like the super x3.
I'm thinking about a remington 11-87, 3 inch.

I have a 11-87 -3" and like it alot although I've heard some say it's prone to jamming. I haven't had that problem and have used it at the skeet range as well as hunting. I would like to try out the 3 1/2" sometime (not sure why 'cause the 3" BB can knock down geese)

I have a SX2 as well, absolutely LOVE that gun. The only jams I have ever had have been when it gets a little dirty when we are shooting target loads. I have never had a jam bird hunting. The first year I had it we tested it out by cleaning it before the season and then shooting it all season, easily a case to a case and a half of shells through it, just to see if it jammed when it got dirty/cold, it never did. It also improved my shooting from my pump gun due to 1) it fitting better and 2) I believe that not having to pump the gun keeps me in the proper shooting position due to less movement on my part.

I have a SBE 2 , SX2 and a berreta. I like all of them. If I had to take just one it would be the SBE2 for the weight factor.
Never had a problem with the SX2. Berreta needs to be cleaned alot. SBE2 never an issue yet and I have ran some shells through it this year (new gun). I have shot a SX3 and didn't like it as much as the 2 for some reason. Just didn't fit me right.

I have a SBE 2, 11-87, and an SP 10. Haven't used the 11-87 in a couple of years. May trade the 11-87 for a 2nd SBE 2, but would like to find an SBE 1. I use the SP 10 for geese only.

I have a Berretta Urika II ( same as the Extrema II but does not do 3 1/2" shells) and love it so far. I have only had it a year so no long term testing done yet...

I shoot an SX3, its my new gun for this year, so far, I love it, no problems. Can't trully say I have worked it too much at this point. My dad shoots a Benelli SBE2 aswell and I dont think he will ever part with it. It's quite the gun and its proven to be a solid preformer. I did have an SX2 in the past and don't see or feel too too much difference in my SX3. SX3 is just a touch slimmer and maybe a little lighter. My 2 cents, can't go wrong with any of them.
Just to note, if your big on target shooting, and will be firing light loads, Browning/winchester has a seperate cylinder for the active valve system to handle the light loads. You may notice the SX3 will spit out the target loads OK, but, with the changed system, you will notice it can spit out the light loads much better, it's considered to be more of a magnum heavy load gun. The extra cyclinder isn't to expensive, I believe I paid a tad under $100. Remember, the gun WILL fire light loads, just with the extra cyclinder does it with a touch more effectiveness.
I have a Browning Gold 3 1/2. Works good. The only time it has ever stove piped is after 100-150 rounds of the cheap 2dr walmart target ammo.
Never an issue with the federal target or hunting rounds.
I did have to have the stocks replaced as the duracoat was coming off.
I like the gun, it has survived a few trips under water.
I would like to get a Benelli super black eagle 2 one day though..

Last year I bought a SX3 and so far I really like it. When shopping I was considering a SBEII and a Beretta Extrema 2. Although I have never shot the previously mentioned guns, when shouldering them the SBEII felt like a real sharp shooting, easy to shoulder gun. The Beretta felt like a 2X4. I found the SX3 to be a happy medium between these two. Saving approx. $700 I went with the SX3.
I did have 1 minor glitch with it. I purchased the duck blind camo edition, and when using 3.5" blackcloud it would frequently jam. It would eject the spent shell but not cycle the next shell into the chamber. I never had a problem with 3" blackcloud and never a problem with any other manufacturer of 3.5".
The gun is extremely easy to tear down in the field if needed.
I have found the recoil system to be incredibly good, as I shoot mainly 3.5".

SBEII. My purchase about 18months ago and it works well in the field and at the range.

For the money you can't beat the Mossberg 930. Mine eats everything I feed and has never jammed on me.
It's not fancy but it works!
