I did not stay long enough for results yesterday. There was 24 dogs called back into the 2nd series of Qual.

A sick kid is keeping me home today or else I would be there.

Sorry don't have any results but just wanted to let people know about Marty Pinder's chessie. She went down in the amateur and they had to rush her to the emergency vet. Marty has had her to Guelph and it is a physical sports injury. She will need at least 5 weeks of complete rest and then they will re-evaluate. Probably another 4 weeks of light exercise and hopefully she will be ready for light training. The vet's at Guelph think that she should recover completely. Marty has had some bad luck with his last three chessies.

This was a great FT -- amazing TAILGATE -- best food on entire circuit (even better than Pine Ridge ?!?!? -- just sorry Dennis V. didn't get chance to review in person) -- but the memories: 1) Vera A.'s Dana getting 2nd place in Qual -- Vera's feet still haven't touched the ground 2) watching Chuck D. herd cattle from an ATV 3)the huge crowd over at Junior water 4) the fantastic dog work -- and great grounds -- plus amazing workers in Long Point club all pulling together -- and great throwers from Alymer care of teacher Duncan Sinclair -- pretty good judges too 5) and truly a first for me at a FT dancing with my better half with other couples on the floor as tailgate wound down and we honoured recent wedding of a great couple (not sure want names put out on public forum -- so won't -- but they know who they are) -- just a great great FT
