I still have yet to shoot a mallard this year. I am more of a diver guy but i still usually have some sitting in the freezer. From those picks it looks like your on the welland river i have had some decent shooting there once ice up hits. I am holding hope that the river i hunt on is going to produce some birds in Jan. so hopefully everything is good and frozen up by then.
