Looking for breeder in quebec

hello everyone we are interested in the purchase of american labrador puppy,
if anyone on the board has any advice where we can start looking please let us know , we are looking for reputable breeder who does all health checks only , we are willing to drive into ottawa also to get our precious baby , we are looking for black male pup , we just lost our 8 year old labbie Spot ,due to complications for acl surgery ....
We are interested in purchasing in spring 2010 , give us enough time to greive and be ready for the little guy to give him all the love and care he deserves.

I know you said you were looking for a black puppy in the spring but thought I would mention we have one female yellow lab pup left out of a litter of six born on 10/10/09. The sire is FTCH Sandy's Tribute of RocknRoll (black)and the dam is Mjolnir's Lake Effect Gale (yellow). Both are OFA good, elbows normal and EIC and CNM clear. We are in upstate NY right over the border from Ottawa. The pup is 1000.00 US and is 10 weeks this Saturday, shots up to date and dew claws removed. She is crate trained and retrieving already.
