Poppers

To all you folks that organize the hunt tests, where do you get your poppers? I would like to order some, but everything I have seen is over the border and I don't know if I would have issues with them coming across.

I make my own, You can usually get all the hulls you want from the local trap clubs. Just made 150 of them the other night to bring with me to Vermont.

I'm with Kevin, I make my own.

There is a difference between poppers and primer loads. I make primer loads, which is just a shell with a new primer pushed in, no powder or anything like that.

If that all you want, look for a used single stage reloader, I spent 10$ on mine, and made 100 poppers in a couple nights... I simply did 20-30 a night till I had "enough" lol

We have an retired gentleman in our club that churns them out for our tests. He has it down to a science and we have very few jams during our tests.

He is willing to make them for others for a small fee. If you PM me I can pass along his name and you can make arrangements with him. He lives in the Kitchener/Waterloo area so the toughest part may be hooking up with him to get the poppers.
