New to the forum just wanted to introduce myself. Friends call me kal. I live and hunt I north western Ontario, about 5 hrs from the Manitoba border. Waterfowl hunting isn't the best here, but grouse hunting is great. Ruffed, Spruce and Sharptail, love it. I have a 9 week old Nova Scotia Toller, Tikka, she's my little girl. I intend to train her for flushing and retrieving. Well thats the goal. For now I'm doing obedience training.

Welcome!
Is Tikka from Marshland Kennels? Sean and Michelle are great friends of mine, and she told me she just sent a puppy way up north. I also know a Toller in BC who is named Tikka. Small world...
Have fun with your pup - Tollers are great Upland dogs.

Balmertown?
at the end of 105?

I was lucky enough to spend 3 years in Dryden, many days I wish I was still there...

Welcome to the forum!

I'm the owner of the B.C. Tikka. That brings the "Tikka Club" too three tollers named Tikka now since mine was the first.

Yup, you guys with more common breeds can't believe that in the Toller communty you can say a tollers call name and everyone knows who you are talking about! Sure, somethimes you have to stick a "Canadian or American" on front of the name but it's true!

Hope you have as much fun with your Tikka as I am with mine!

You can see pics of her here. www.kasomor.com (http://www.kasomor.com)
