HHRC [Horse Shoe club] pics

the horse club held a hunt test this weekend at longpoint

naturally i had to head over there and catch the action[i love watching good dog work] and of course lend a hand

remember folks it's all of us getting together, pitchin in and doing what we can that really makes these events as great as they can be

i wasn't running my dog this weekend but had a teriffic time [my sides are still hurtin from laughin at some of the one liners matt was throwin out there]

It's too bad Gunner and I couldnt get by the dbl poison birds in the 1rst series this morning,

All and all it was a great weekend, and hey no ticks on my dog. Thats a bonus when at Longpoint.....lol......

Al - you are too much!!

You forgot to get some pictures of Rheal with his shirt off and "flexing" for the gallery!!

The Luther Marsh HRC was well represented as gunners - three of three stations on the water were operated by members of the Luther executive. Al was number one mark, Rheal Bourgeois was muber two, and I was on number three. I think we had as much fun as the handlers!!:rockon:

I should start a thread asking which set of pictures do people think are the funniest - Al (quack) stripping down to the zebra stripe speedo in Lindsay, OR these ones of Al retrieving the "no bird"?????

Good stuff Al - loved being our there with you and the others today. It sure was a lot of fun. Excellent grounds, excellent food, great weather, and some excellent dog work. Hats off to Tim, Mark, Medie, Matt, and all the others that made it a great Hunt Test.:clap2: :clap2:

:eek: Yes folks, you have it in photographic proof--Al RETRIEVING a duck. He really waded out there in his overalls and did his best imitation of the Kook as pick-up dawg when a couple of handlers picked their dogs up on a killer water mark. And he gave Katie the name Kookie!

Anyhow...Thanks for posting the pics Al! It really was a good weekend and the club and judges really appreciate all of the effort the volunteers put in. We also had some really wonderful dog work this weekend. Kudos to everyone who is taking the time to really train and get their dogs ready for these tests. It shows in the field during the test, and in the ribbons at the end of the day! It was terrific to shake the hands of so many successful JH handlers--especially those finishing their titles. Hopefully we have you hooked now!

Our judging guests from the States commented numerous times what a great time they had.

HHRC rocks! Way to go everyone!

Those are great pictures Al.

I held Maggie (My Dog) up to the the screen so she could see what she is going to look like when we get past this force fetch.Bad form though Al ,you have to grab that bird by the body.No wing grabbing allowed.We'll have to ear pinch you out of that.
