how do you folks go about securing an Aircraft Type Kennel in the back of your pickup trucks? I was thinking of cabling the kennel to the tie off loops in the front of the box. Even if it means crawling up in the box myself to lock the pup in, I would like to keep the kennel tucked up to the cab.
That is how I have mine secured, but with straps rather than cable.

We do exactly what you're doing, and tried a few methods. Bungee cords give too much, and we found proper tie-down straps work best. Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, and TSC all carry them. Food for thought? If you have two kennels of complimentary size to one another, they fit right between the wheel wells and keep each other in place.

I can't believe that I never thought of using the straps. I'll be going to pick some up this morning thanks folks!

How truly second rate of you Barry...
Had you been at the meeting... You would have seen a ratchet strap... and I could have made fun of you. I really prefer when you're there!

There's all kinds of sites you go to that I don't...
All the golden age club websites are of no interest to me, your flower growing sites, and all the how-to shoot a shotgun websites.
